About our clinic
Ours is a team-based model of care – led by a personal physician who provides continuous and coordinated care throughout a patient’s lifetime to ensure positive health outcomes. This Patient-Centred Medical Home style practice is responsible for providing all of a patient’s health care needs or appropriately arranging care with other qualified professionals.
We aim to address all factors that contribute to health, healing, and disease treatment, blending advanced clinical practice with proven complementary therapies.

Tanya Beaubrun
Registered and licensed with the St. Lucia Medical and Dental Council , Dr. Tanya Destang-Beaubrun is a Family Physician , specializing in Functional and Integrative Medicine.
A graduate of the University of the West Indies , she completed her Internship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados in 1993, and has been in Private Family Practice since 1994.
She opened the Rodney Bay Medical Centre in 1994, which has since expanded its services to its current location in the Providence Commercial Centre next to the J. Q. Mall and the Bay Gardens Hotel.
She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Caribbean College of Family Physicians, and was certified with the General Medical Council in the UK in 1999.
She is a Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and International Lactation Consultants Association, and has served as a Consultant for UNICEF in their BabyFriendly Hospital Initiative.
She holds an Honors Degree in Alternative Medicine as well as a Board Certification under the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and is an Advanced Fellow in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine.
She has served as President of the St. Lucia Medical and Dental Association as well as Vice President of the St. Lucia Planned Parenthood Association.
Dr. Destang-Beaubrun is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. John Mondesir
Medical Director and General Practitioner

Registered and licensed with the St. Lucia Medical and Dental Council. He earned his medical degree in 2008 from the “Raul Dorticos Torrado” Faculty of Medical Sciences, Cienfuegos Cuba, having interned at that same institution. Dr Mondesir has worked in Emergency rooms in the United States and St. Lucia, and in addition to being one of our full-time physicians, he has served as Professor of Microbiology at the American International Medical University (St. Lucia campus) and Basic Sciences Professor (Physics) at the Atlantic University Medical school.
He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a first responder with the St Lucia Red Cross and N.E.M.O (National Emergency Management Organization).
He is the current medical consultant for the Tiger Tennis Club (which makes the sport of tennis more accessible to St. Lucian youth), and also an active member of that Club.
Registered and licensed with the St. Lucia Medical and Dental Council, the Antigua and Barbuda Medical Council, and the Trinidad and Tobago Medical Board.
She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (2007) and completed her Internship at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital. She then worked in Pediatrics for four years at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Trinidad.
After moving to Antigua, Dr West-Gustave worked as a Registrar in the Emergency Department at the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre during which time she completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medicine (U.W.I.). She also worked in the Family Medicine Department at the institution and has also completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine. Dr West-Gustave is BLS, ACLS, PALS and ATLS certified.
Dr. Filamena Day
Family Practitioner

Registered and licensed with the St. Lucia Medical and Dental Council, St. Lucian born Dr Filamena Day is a Family Practitioner
She was educated at Leon Hess Comprehensive School and the International School of Saint Lucia where her stint as a competitive swimmer developed her interest in sports medicine. She received a medical education scholarship from Cuba, attaining her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Latin American School of Medicine in 2017.
A lover of the arts and sport she has represented St. Lucia on various platforms as a swimmer, a life guard, a coach, at youth summits and even in pageantry.
Upon graduating, Dr Day did her local internship at Victoria Hospital (VH) and worked as an emergency room physician at Victoria and Tapion Hospitals. She joined the staff at the RBMC in August 2021.
She is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life support by the American Heart Association.
Registered and licensed with the St. Lucia Medical and Dental Council, Dr. Len Compton is a graduate of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Las Tunas Cuba, having interned at the same institution.
Upon completion of his medical degree, Dr. Compton completed his residency in neurology at the Provincial University Teaching Hospital of Camaguey ‘’Manuel Ascunce Domenech’’, graduating as a clinical neurologist.
As a neurologist, Dr. Compton is able to render diagnostic and therapeutic care for a wide range of neurological disorders including cerebrovascular disease, neuropathic pain, headaches, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, essential tremors and other movement disorders, dementia, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, diabetic and other peripheral neuropathies, Myasthenia Gravis and much more.
He is also proficient in and able to perform neurophysiological studies such as EEG, EMG, evoked potential and nerve conduction studies.
